SC Solidification Process
-High-volume-reduction Process for Radioactive and Hazardous Wastes-
JGC has developed an SC (Super Cement) Solidification Process, featuring high performance in stabilizing radioactive nuclides and hazardous materials. Using blast furnace slag as a solidifier, the SC Solidification Process produces a solid high in strength, thereby enabling a high volume reduction rate. Realizing low viscosity during mixing, this process also permits easier washing of mixers. The SC Solidification Process is applicable not only for radwastes but also for hazardous wastes, such as heavy metals.
